Why It Helps

📐

Real-World Constraints

Kerf and trim allowance are included so the plan matches what happens at the saw.

🌾

Grain-Aware Packing

Enforce grain direction for plywood and veneers, or relax it for maximum yield.

Shop-Ready Outputs

Export CSV cut lists, SVG diagrams, and a printable PDF for quick reference.

Fast, Local, Private

Runs entirely in your browser. Your project stays on your device via local autosave.

🧩

Edge Banding Compensation

Enter finished sizes and compensate cut sizes for edge banding thickness.

🧰

Simple Material Presets

Start from common sheet sizes, then customize thickness, cost, and trimming.

Common Questions

Yes. Set your blade kerf in Settings and the optimizer will reserve that spacing between adjacent cuts/parts in the layout.
Yes. Mark parts as horizontal/vertical grain. When grain enforcement is enabled, those parts will not be rotated against the material grain direction.
Enter the finished part size and select which edges are banded. The optimizer compensates the cut size by subtracting the band thickness for banded edges.
The app runs entirely in your browser and autosaves locally. Offline support depends on your browser cache, but the tool is designed to be usable without a backend.
No. Projects are saved to local storage in your browser. Export JSON if you want to move a project between devices.
